Street View now shows you the interior of sports arenas and stadiums

Walking the streets can be one of the most mundane things you can do with Street View. Google’s service allows you to visit exotic destinations around the world, even going so far as to allow you to zip-line through the Amazon. Now you can launch Maps to get a good look inside your favorite sports stadiums.

The functionality is not limited to a single sport. In an announcement post, Google shows sights such as the 40-meter line from CenturyLink Field (Seattle Seahawks) ….

Clicking on the links in the Google ad works, but I haven’t had much luck diving into the sports stadiums directly from Google Maps. Instead, I get photospheres submitted by users. So I would consider the feature to be still being rolled out.
